01.07.2010: Holiday Time
Our technical support is not available until 16.07.2010.
The experience says, that we have in 2 weeks a large amount of incoming emails. We are not able to answer them all in one single day.

But if you receive no answer until 23.07. your mail is lost in the huge amount of the daily spam.
If this happens, please send your mail a second time.

Regards,
your technical support team

03.01.2010: UK online
Today the first region in Great Britain (Edinburgh) goes online. In the first step we have no noise measurement stations, but only flight-tracks.

09.06.2009: Holidays
Our webmaster stays in holidays from tomorrow (10.07.2009) until 26.07.2009.

Please show understanding, that we answer mails in this time not before 27.07.2009.
Our experience is: A lot of mails would arrive in these two weeks - so it needs some days until all mails are answered.

18.09.2008: New Server / All-Clear
Since today 16:15 o'clock the FTP-problem is solved.
First checks confirmed that no data loss appeared.
The DFLD team says 'Thank you' for your patience.

16.09.2008: New Server / Troubles
In the night from the 15th to 16th of September at 1:30 the "anonymous FTP access" failed.
Why? We don't know it in the moment.
The service team of our provider try to find the reason.

The Consequences:
Only the professional measurement stations are affected. They are not able to transmit data to our server (the low cost equipment works with another FTP-access).
We expect no data loss, because the professional systems have a build in memory (enough for more than 1 year).

In the moment we have no informations, when this problem is solved.
Please excuse this malfunction.

15.09.2008: New server is online
It took some doing - but now our new server is online:
   4 CPU's á 2.3 GHz are working with
   8 GB RAM and a
   1 TB harddisk

This should be enough for the next weeks :-)

11.09.2008: What a disgrace (Topic: New Server)
Our provider tried four times to change our server - and four times he failed.

In the moment he is not able to give us a time-schedule for the next steps.

Therefore the upgrade to a faster server must wait some days, weeks, years, ...

27.08.2008: New Server
In the next days we upgrade our server.

Unfortunately we get a new IP-address during this upgrade!

We expect that the measurement-stations have some troubles with the data-transfer to our server in this period!
In theory after a time everything should work properly without any manual intervention.

Please check your stations in the next time and inform us in the case of unrecoverable errors.

09/09/2005: EANS Foundation
